Basement Golf Sim, Castle Rock

Built a Golf Sim in an Entertainer's Basement

Jason E wanted a golf simulator in his basement. The space was excellent with 9.5ft ceilings and plenty of room to hit in the center of the room and accomadate both righties and lefties. He wanted the space to be safe enough from his young kids playing. The space was down to the studs which is great for running wires for the golf sim.

I designed the golf sim space and picked out components to fit within Jason's desired budget. I ran the high voltage and low voltage wiring for the simulator and even added some adidtional power outlets in the space and lighting. After the electrical was done, Jason had a team lined up to insulate the walls, drywall, and paint, so I would install the golf sim components afterward.

We went with an overhead Uneekor EYEXO launch monitor so it's out of the way when kids or friends come and play. The screen is 15x9ft and used a 1080p laser projector. The floor covered in putting turf with a hitting strip and the stained wood transition makes for a very clean look.

Jason has a blast playing in his golf simulator and is a highlight during parties. We added swing cameras so he can analyze his swing and took online lessons from the comfort of his own home.
